Buzi joined Dow in 2021 as Sensor Technology Manager with Digital Operation Center. Since then, she has been working on the IoT sensors space and is currently leading global initiatives on how to best onboard these sensors on petrochemical plants. Prior to Dow, Erjola has 15 years of experience in research, development and manufacturing of oilfield instruments. Prior to joining Dow, Erjola worked as Senior Electrical Engineer at Aramco for six years. She designed electronic circuits and sensors that provided solutions for oil field challenges. Before that, she worked for Schlumberger for 8 years. During that time, she designed and tested high temperature downhole sensors and systems for Drilling and Measurements (D&M) and Wireline. She remains strong interest on sensors and technology and is excited to explore new applications.
Erjola holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Rice University, Texas, USA 2012 and her Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania 2006. She is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a certified Project Management Professional since 2017.
