Allie Kennedy Thurmond is an experienced leader who has worked in both the public and private sectors, led organizations in both R&D and operations, and worked both domestic and internationally. She has more than 25 years of leadership experience with 20 years engaged in the energy industry.

Currently, Allie is the Asset Manager for US Exploration at Equinor - an international energy company headquartered in Norway. During her career in Equinor, she has held numerous leadership roles in Research and Development in both the US and Norway and recent roles such as Vice President for Exploration in the Gulf of Mexico, Board Member for Equinor’s US Holdings and Exploration Manager for Mexico.

Prior to joining Equinor, she had a career working as a Senior Supervisory Statistician for the US Department of Commerce. She has a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Texas at Dallas.
