Daniel Kalms is Executive Vice President Technical Services with Woodside Energy and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2020. In this role he oversees the technological advancements in LNG, data science, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation and integration.
Daniel has 20 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. His previous roles on the Woodside Executive Committee include leading Woodside’s merger with BHP Petroleum and prior to this leading the Corporate and Legal division. Preceding this, Daniel led the Scarborough LNG project to FID and the company's business interests in Pluto LNG and Australian oil.
Amongst other roles, he was Pluto LNG Plant Manager based in Karratha for the period from start-up in 2011 to establishment of steady state operations.
