John Taplett is the CEO and a Co-Founder of Ceritas AI, the leading HBOM cybersecurity company. He began his career as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he worked on numerous collection programs addressing large data and analytic targets. After leaving the Navy he held multiple roles in the energy and infrastructure space at Tudor Pickering & Holt and Lazard Frères, advising management teams on strategic options. Returning to the Artificial Intelligence space, he helped form OAG Analytics which specialized in upstream applications of Artificial Intelligence. Upon exiting OAG Analytics, he returned to the Defense sector, co-founding Colvin Run Networks, which specializes in deep R&D and Artificial Intelligence in the DoD sector. While working on a project for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the core technology for Ceritas was identified and productized to improve Hardware Cybersecurity and improve the industrial and commercial security of the United States.
