Founding member of upstream operator Greenlake Energy since 2021 with a core focus on the Permian and other core North American basins. Prior to joining Greenlake, Mr. Hembree served as Vice President of Information Technology for Parsley Energy. He joined Parsley in 2018 and was accountable for a multi-year digital transformation strategy to modernize field operations. Prior to his time at Parsley, he spent over a decade at Chesapeake Energy leading various upstream business, technology and data delivery teams. Recent areas of focus include upstream modernization through emerging technologies, responsible operator best practice adoption and M&A asset evaluation. Mr. Hembree is responsible for Greenlake’s combined environmental sustainability and technology strategies. The intersection of both disciplines serves as an anchor for the company’s modern, responsible operator commitment.
