William Izard is the Manager of Enterprise Data Management at Occidental Petroleum (Oxy), with over 25 years of experience in upstream oil and gas data management. He has held a variety of operational and IT roles across complex production environments, developing a deep understanding of how trusted, accessible data fuels performance in the energy sector. Bill holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Houston and is a passionate advocate for the enterprise-wide integration of information to support critical decision-making. His work centers on aligning data strategy with business needs, strengthening data governance, and driving scalable solutions that empower teams across the organization. Outside of work, Bill is a proud father of triplets, an avid musician, and enjoys traveling with his family. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
