Speaker Bio
Jerry began his career in the oil and gas industry in 2001 after being a public school teacher for
six years (teaching secondary mathematics and secondary music). His logical mindset and his
strength in mathematics quickly led him to working with hydrocarbon accounting and allocations.
His background in education proved beneficial in mentoring field and office personnel.
Working for public and private companies (both on-shore and off-shore), Jerry has been responsible for numerous database implementations, developing intricate allocation
methodologies, and configuring software to address allocation and reporting complexities - all of which are crucial in regulatory and contractual compliance. After managing Production Accounting departments, providing consulting services to oil and gas producers and software companies, and serving as an allocation SME, he began his role as Principal Consultant at Stonebridge Consulting in 2024.
Throughout his career, Jerry advised several state and federal regulatory agencies regarding measurement/allocation reporting. He consulted with state legislators and his
recommendations were included in state oil and gas statutes. He has been sought out within the industry for his expertise in hydrocarbon accounting, database implementations, data
management, business analytics, and dashboard solutions. He is a panelist and teaches several classes at the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM). He received the 2019 ISHM Memorial Award – Industry for his paper “Allocations 101: Fundamentals of Allocations.”
Additionally, his focus on “establishing structure to maintain sustainability” has streamlined processes, increased efficiencies, improved reporting, and provided significant savings to companies.

Jerry holds a B.S. in Education from East Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
