Raj Gautam is a Senior Principal Technology Architect for High Performance Computing (HPC) and an IT Fellow at ExxonMobil. With over 20 years of experience in HPC—including nine years at ExxonMobil—Raj has played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s computational capabilities. He led ExxonMobil’s transition from CPU-based systems to GPU-accelerated computing, dramatically improving the performance of scientific simulations and enabling faster, more accurate hydrocarbon discovery. Raj holds a Master’s degree in Technology from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
