Katelyn Kelsey is currently a Mobility Technology Manager within the Digital Operations Center (DOC) at Dow. She has evaluated, developed, and implemented solutions across several technology domains, including ruggedized hardware, wearable devices, mobile worker connectivity, advanced process control, and wireless network infrastructure. Katelyn serves as Dow’s program manager for interactions with MxD, the digital advanced manufacturing institute, where she also led efforts to develop and deploy a process industry test bed for piloting digital manufacturing and connected worker capabilities.

Katelyn joined Dow in 2017 within the Information Research group of Dow’s global Core R&D organization as a Process Control (PC) Systems Engineer, supporting the construction and commissioning of over 30 automation systems at the new Dow Texas Innovation Center.

Katelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with concentration in software development from the University of Texas and holds certification as an Engineering in Training (EIT) with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Katelyn is a Technology expert in Siemens Process Control Suites (PCS 7 and TIA Portal) and has presented her work in this area at multiple conferences. Katelyn has been an active coach and mentor for the FIRST robotics program as well as in promoting women in STEM. Most recently, Katelyn received the 2022 Next-Generation Leadership Award from the National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Leadership Council.
